HMT handlebar bag from DP
Does anyone have one of these mounted? I bought one and mounted it with the writing going towards the front of the bike but it looks a little odd to me. Is this the proper way to attach it?

It's kinda stupid, if you ask me, but yes, you can read the writing if you're standing in front of the bike, not sitting on it...

I have mine facing torwards me in the riding position. Makes it easy to get to things if I need it when riding or sitting on the bike.

Well that's how MX handlebar pads have always been installed.....with the writing facing towards the front.

For a 1 size fits all bag, it's OK. I can't remember which way the writing is facing on mine, but it's pointless to mount it without the zipper facing the rider. It fit better on my GT but still works on the Hyper, although it takes more time than it should for me to mount the thing.
A number of folks who didn't like the way it mounted to the bars have taken to mounting it to the frame or sub-frame. You might want to give that a try too.

Several of us here ended up with the Chase Harper #2258 Frame Bag. I mounted mine (using zip-ties) on the left side, just underneath the tank area. I'm happy with it...

It's like an Apple laptop. When it's closed the Apple logo is facing the wrong way, when it's open the Apple logo is right side up. They are both designed that way so other people can see/read them better. Hell, I already know my bikes a Hypermotard and my laptop is an Apple so I don't need to be able to read them.
Strangely, it makes sense to me
