Ducati bash plate doesn't fit with the Termi 2-1 system?
...'cause the pipe is too close to the sump? Or is it my subpar fitting skills?

That is a bit odd... mine fits just fine. Unfortunately the bike is taken apart so I can't get a pic for you at the moment.

It will fit, just ignore some of the instructions.
1: Fit the brackets first, then attach the plate.
2: The rear bracket will fit, I used a large persuader (hammer) on mine, as there is almost fa clearance between sump and exhaust.
3: The metal spacers behind the footrests need to be removed, IIRC the gear side goes back in, the brake side doesn't. Replace after you get the bracket in place.
4: There is a plastic/rubber spacer type thing behind the foot rest on the brake side make sure this doesn't get squashed up, you will be able to see through the bolt hole.
Have fun and dont swear too much

My DP sump guard / bash plate didn't come with any instructions, does someone have them that they could post or email?
I think I have it on right but I want to confirm. I remove the washers on the both sides where the bracket attaches. On gear side it was only the thinner one of the two. I put the thicker alum. one back in.
It clears the Termi 2 into 1 system no problem
It was a PITA to get the plate mounting nuts on to the brackets afterward. Is there a trick to easily getting it out of the way for an oil change?
Thanks

Your good to go, the skidplate brackets just replace the 2 thin washers.
You can JB weld the nuts to the brackets or put on clamp nuts, (U bracket with built in nuts) that way you just remove the screws to take off the skidplate. Aloha Alex

Hi - could i just tag on to this......ive just got my HM and the bash plate didnt come attached. mines got a zard exhaust on there (which isnt the issue i dont think) but my problem is, is that the washers that drop out (the ones that are about 25mm across are half as thick as the bash plate mount that has to go back in (the front holes are fine) if i try to push the rear (were talking the right hand side here as you sit on the bike) then it just squashes the rubber up - and if i have to take the whole lot off then is there much point putting it on??
