mega-la-moto on ebay ... wtf?

is anyone else as mystified as i am at the parts pricing that mega-la-moto has on the crashed out hypermotard they are parting out?

they seem to be listing every single part at full MSRP as their starting pricing for these auctions (and they seem to also have EVERY single part down to the nut and bolt level, listed).

are they on crack? i see these same parts listed, and re-listed for the past month or two, so i am assuming no one is stupid enough to pay full MSRP for used parts via ebay, when they can go to their local dealership and not have to pay shipping costs.

if anyone from mega-la-moto is on this forum, what are you folks smoking?

mega-la-moto

I needed a left front rotor for my hyper and saw one of their first listings a few months ago... I inquired about rotors.... $250 + shipping for the SET ($380 for ONE retail!)

DONE!!

Very pleasant to deal with.

Quick shipping

I guess I got lucky.....

some of thier stuff is very fairly priced, $24 for the pegs $9 for the upper chain guard $12 (i think) for the bar mounted electronics. but some of this stuff is outragous like the tank and the exhaust. They want over $250 for the stock headers.
IDK

agreed ... but i bet if you look at the photos/descriptions for the fairly priced items, you will find that they are damaged, and that is why the pricing seems low.

i am sticking with them being high on crack

Buy it now with a Best offer and FREE shipping on ebay now only costs .35 to post for 30 days or good til cancel
The Best offer and the Free S&H is the key here.
Most items will sell by best offer so thats why the BIN price is so high.

I would suspect if you take 10-30 % off and figure out shipping cost thats the price I would offer.
Good chance your offer will be accepted.
