Aprilia's Hyper Clone - Only $9599
Aprilia has finally released their Dorsoduro to the U.S. market ( http://www.autoblog.com/2009/01/08/2...kes-u-s-debut/. I was kind of surprised at the pricing. I thought I had read that the estimated pricing was going to be in the $14,000 range but it came in at a reasonable $9,599.
I think I'd grab an SXV before I'd buy that thing.

It's only a 750cc, when they bring out the 1200cc I would guess it will priced comparable to the Hyper.

Perhaps, but the 750 puts out about the same horsepower as the Hypermotard does. Torque probably isn't near the Duc though.

Very similar to the Shiver, which I was looking at before I bought my Hyper. Do the research, reliability is a nightmare, and parts availability not much better. Dealers don't even have oil filters! Maybe better now that this is the second year but there sure were a lot of problems. When its running correctly the motor is said to be very nice, and the bike looks a lot better with a set of Carbon LV cans.
BTW, I don't get that. LV makes Carbon cans for the Ape Shiver/Dorso and not for the Hyper. There are a hell of a lot more Hypers out there than Aprilias.

I kinda like it, but the exhaust is silly looking. Make it look like a chick with a FAT ARSE!

The Hyper looks far more sophisticated and solid. That looks cheap and awkward.
