Multistrada Rear Hugger
Anyone used a Multistrada Rear Hugger, they seem to be a little longer and offer more splash protection, but do they have any fitting issues?

I had the DP rear hugger on my Multi and it hit the shock under compression. I ended up taking it off and buying the Shift-Tech hugger for it as it matched the one on my Hyper and I'd not had any problems with it. The Shift-Tech one is much nice quality.

LOL - good point on hitting the shock and my mistake. It hit something under compression that made an irritating clunk sound - not an uncommon comment about the DP hugger on a Multi. I doubt its the eating issue with me as I'm right around 160 pounds in full riding gear.

Does NOT fit! Be warned!
I had a DP carbon hugger, ordered it for the Hyper, same unit fits the Multi, BUT there is a PROBLEM! if you look at the DP hugger closely, you will see that the chain "tunnel" is much smaller/lower than the stock chain guard, on my Hyper the chain would "smack" the chain guard and in time would have cracked it, I showed this to my Dealer and they refunded my money, then I ordered the Shift Tec one, WAY better than the DP one, and a PERFECT fit! Aloha Alex

No offense but you must look like a Gorilla riding a tricycle on your Hyper

Houston, we have a problem!
Why does he always do this, Is it a misguided attempt at humour, is he trying to be witty and take the piss, with tongue in cheek?
His poor people skills must land him in trouble, if he dare go out in public.
Alounacara, if you want to be funny, witty or clever, scrutinize you words first to ensure they cannot be taken as an insult. A 200lb man is only average in size and weight, so why call him a Gorilla? Was there anything to indicate he needs training wheels?
Can I ask you a question? Do you ride with anybody on this Ducati forum? It would be good if somebody could photograph your 'chicken strips' and scrutinize your riding ability. We all lack skill compared to Stoner and Rossi, but they don't insult us, so BACK OFF!
