How much did you pay for them?? They're the exact same mirror on my Nexus500 scooter as well, I was thinking of doing the same but including these nice Japanese Carbon handguards(no freight charges)

Those look good on there! They look to be the same ones I have on my Aprilia SXV 550. Good idea.

bwhip, I'm curious, what's your impression of the sxv550 compared to HM? Is it as good a ride as HM?

Aprilia Tuono Mirrors

Flea bay UK

19 pound left/hand, 15 pound right/ hand

all up + freight $75.oo US freight is a killer from UK.
don't care

Had to use DP mounting brackets that supplied with the conversion kit to change end bar mirrors.
tried them and hated the look.

It's really not an apples and apples comparison. The SXV is more enjoyable in the really tight stuff as it is 50kg lighter and spins up much quicker. Though it suffers on the more open roads. The hyper is a great all rounder and is very easy to live with. I've kept my SXV for the track and hyper for the road.

Not sure yet, as I haven't taken a spin on the HM yet. Still determined to get one soon, once I sell the 749R. The SXV, so far, is the most pure fun hooligan bike I've ever ridden. I'm turning into a lightweight twin roadracing machine, so I'll get the HM for street fun and occasional trackday forays.

Does anything else have to be installed to mounts these mirrors? Adapters?>?

If so, what are they, and where do you get them???

Why doesn't anyone sell these mirrors online?

pretty sure you can buy the adaptors alone at any ducati shop

the aprila's 10mm screw straight on
no vibration, easy viewing and don't look nuffy .
