I am using those pads, front and rear, and I absolutely love them. Switched them with the oem pads when I did spiegler front and rear lines on my 08CBR1k. Very good feel from them. I, obviously, don't have the same part number, but I figured I would say something nice about the pads anyway

The rears are the RX model and the fronts are SBK5. I definitely recommend them.

Besides the pads being great, will they get rid of that front break garbage truck noise ????

is that part # for an S or the standard model? Also, I havn't come up with much while searching for pads that specifically fit the hyper standard.

I`ve got the 2539sbk5 on my standard and LOVE them. More bite than stock and a nice progressive feel. I wouldn`t want my brakes any better.

Got them from Motowheels. They cross referenced them for me. Think they were the same pads as a 02` 998S as well as some other bikes.

This is an old thread, but the 2539 pads are also used on non-Evo 848s and the Monster 696.

Are you running the C44/C55/C59 on a non-race/non-track bike? How well do they perform in the cold?

I bought my XBK5 pads from Sportbike Track Gear and they recommended them for the street and occasional track use. The XBK5 replaces the older SBK nomenclature, and the latest race pads are C59s.
