POS Stock chain

Anyone else notice all the rubber O rings coming out the stock chain?

after a trackday I picked 4 up from the top of the swingarm and whenever i clean the chain I see them sticking out. I clean the chain same way I've done very other one using the same stuff so I know its not me.

what is the stock anyway? 525 and how many links?

did a 520 conversion on my last bike, didn't notice much difference. not worth the extra $$$ for the different cogs. 525 is fine, I'll get a DID X-ring thingy sometime

I use O-ring safe wax and for a big clean so called o-ring safe chain clean spray. I just wipe off old with a rag till its clean and spray on new wax and mop up excess. that's it, nothing invasive like brushes etc.

I've never seen that, even in years of off road riding and heavy chain maintanence. I also use the chain wax (Maxima). For the Duc I just clean with WD40 and a rag occasionally (if the chain looks gritty) and re-lube, but for the dirt bikes Simple Green and a nylon brush, rinse with a hose, ride to dry out and then lube. What brand cleaner to you use?

This is precisely my chain maintenance program, both on the Hyper and my older GT. WD-40 and Maxima wax are a great combo and the Maxima stays on the chain better than most products. No problems whatsoever. Whenever I clean the chain, I also check all the obvious fasteners and tighten up anything that needs it.

On my bicycle, I've used White Lightning products for years and really like them. Anyone try them on motorcycle chains? Just curious...
