Ride Palomar/Borrego springs 1/1 or 1/2?

Anyone in the San Diego county area (or elsewhere) want to go for a ride on Thurs. new years day or Friday the 2nd? I'm thinking of a run up Palomar Mountain (see avatar) and/or a run down Banner grade to Borrego Springs for lunch. The weather is going to be 65-70 in the lower areas and 59 degrees on the top of Palomar. The snow should be gone with maybe only a couple wet spots.
(I can't go on Sat or Sun)

Was there on Monday... Very nice, just a few wet spots on Palomar's East side, and Montezuma divine as always!
