12/31 ACH Ride?
Anyone up for a ACH ride tomorrow morning? I'm hoping there's no snow or ice in the shady section.
I'm thinking of departing the Shell station around 9:30-10:00. Just enough time to let the road warm up but not so late that we'll be riding in the oil slick left from the Norton/Triumph/BSA New Years Eve ride
it's in the 60's-70's up there so it should be a nice ride.

I hope you guys keep up these rides, when I move out to Vegas in 2010 I'm going to roll out to SoCal every chance I get. I need some 'tour guides' to find the good roads out there!

my sitch, pardon the drama:
i was going to ride with the british biker gang not knowing if anyone else was going, and their departure place/time fit me perfectly.
i planned to work 'til at least 9:30 (get four+ hours in), scoot home, gear up, and meet the brits by 10am.
getting to the shell station by 10am is going to be ambitious given that it's ten minutes further away, i guess i could meet everyone up there a tad bit later.
predicted 45 degrees at 10am up at Mount Wilson, tomorrow. http://www.weather.com/outlook/trave...=22&begDay=365
will check back later.

I might go see a few guys I know around 8-8:30. But, I don't like riding with that many people so I'll probably bail before they head out. I'll text ya with my plans.

FYI, I'm taking the 999r out tomorrow. Weathers nice, she's lonely and since it's just ACH I think my back can take it. I'm going to hit the vintage bike show at Burger Continental, I'll meet you there and then we can leave a few minutes before the oil slick heads up the hill. Text me when you and Glenn get to the bike show and we'll hook up and ride.
??? I guess you and the family survived "the great barfing flu of 2008?"
