She's not much to look at now
But she's turning out nice!
Will hopefully be out of the shop next week so I can try her out! Standby for better photos when she's assembled.

The suspense is killin' me! Can't wait to see the pictures and find out what you've done. Looks like you got your billet triple clamps. And did you powdercoat the forks?
By the way, I kinda like the look when the headlight cowling/fender is removed. Looks like a mean bull. I may have to work with that look on mine at some point.

Thanks guys!
I had the fork tubes anodized when they reworked the springs and valving. Those are actually my stock triple clamps; still waiting for my billet clamps. The shop just needed to move the bike off the lift they were using.
Seeing the bike in person with the front fairing off; wow...Turbomonster had the right idea of cleaning up the front a little. Really shows off the forks.
Just waiting on the triple clamps as again my stockers are damaged and she's ready to roll! Will post more pics as soon as she's done.

No crashes (thankfully); just wanted to change a few things and it got out of hand
It started with my inability to take the silver color of the rear subframe. Then I got a killer deal on an EVR clutch and decided to have my suspension adjusted and (what; you can anodize them black?!?! Why not...) Then had the exhaust ceramic coated, got some Rizoma parts, etc...
So I'm having a bunch of stuff done but some it has taken awhile to get together. The service guys at So Cal Ducati have been EXTREMELY patient (thanks to Trevor, Art, the mechanics and TJ) as my bike occupied a lift whilst the suspension was getting worked over.
Can't wait to get it all back together and ride, I am going through some serious withdrawals...

Can't beat those guys at So Cal Ducati. I bought my bike there (even though I'm down in San Diego area). I was also very impressed with their service department.

Personally, I think the Hyper looks the best without all the BS ... like the subframe, tank and plastics. Frickin' MEAN!!! Just gimmie wheels, a motor, and a single-sided swinger and I'll wear a Camelback full of fuel.
The forks look great ... I'm sure once everything is back together and buttoned up it'll really look the business. Nice project.

Hahaha, that's right; didn't you ride yours without all that 'extra' plastic crap and even without the exhaust?
Thanks Bull and thanks for the replies guys. Talking about her helps me cope with not being around her...

Boy, I've heard of rubber-mounted engines, but this is genius!
