Just traded in my 06 749
As u can see I just traded in my 06 749 for a Hypee. Should I have done that? Came with the single Termi carbon exhaust and DP race seat. Anyone else with a 749 do the same. I can't ride it till spring so I have no idea how it handles yet. I need to lower the seat ASAP. Any suggestions.

I had an 06' 749 and sold it an bought a Hyper and haven't looks back. For the street its crazy easier to ride and just down right fun!
At the race track the 749 was a bit more fun I think. Atleast until I learn the foot forward riding style.
I think you will love your Hyper.

Had a 916, traded it for a Hyper. I never would have bought the 916 if I rode the Hyper first.
That said, I just bought a 2003 749S. I missed having a Superbike especially - as stated above - for track days. The Hyper was fun, but the 749 would have been even more fun.
HOWEVER, if I could only have one, I'd probably only have Hyper.

I kinda figured that would be the feeling, I miss her already. The 06 749 was a high maintenance bit#ch thats for sure, it was fun while it lasted. Oh well I see another superbike in the far future though.
Does anyone know if the front fender of a 848/1098 will fit the on the hyper?

Not sure, but I think a Monster front fender might.

I kinda did the same thing but in a round-about way. Traded in 06 749 and ST3S for 1098R then got a HyperS a few months later. Been riding the Hyper way more than the R. I also regreted not having my 749 for everyday use until I got the hyper.
Had the front and rear dropped 1/4 inch and lower comfort seat, not sure if it made that big a difference since I only put one foot down anyways...
