Standard-added the radial Brakes?

there seems to a e few threads on the advantages of the standard, with uprated pads, and the Rdaial's as being pretty strong and one/two finger use, so has anyone here fitted the after market Radial kit part number 96849508b or any aftermarket calipers? pics with response would be good,

I don't understand your question. Are you looking to swap the pads on a standard to something like a HH? Or are you looking to put the monoblocs on a standard?

I havn't checked for brakepad fitment yet. A little net search found me this http://www.shopracersupply.com/Shop/...d/0/rid/128114 I love vesrah pads for the track and would love to try those for the hyper.

I have also read that one other forum member had to search another model (1098 standard model I think) for pad fitment because not too many companies are making pads specifically for our bikes yet.

Are you trying to change your standard into a "S" model?

well I have done a lot of upgrades to it, basically brought the standard bike and being throwing the DP book at it, ordered some 5Y spoke Marchesini Wheels, might add the S brakes but wondered if anyone had done this upgrade before?

oh, that clarifies things. Before dropping that much $$$, try out a new set of pads. My track bike (03 R6) doesn't even have radial calipers and it stops so damn good with a set of vesrah RJL's, braded lines, and an OEM (off an 05 or newer R6 - similar to the hyper piece) brembo radial MC, that I can't even comprehend how things could be better.

I can't imagine how much better yet the standard could be with a proper set of pads and a good fluid flush considering it weighs less than my track bike and has some nice radial calipers. I would certainly think that the braking force would put you at the limits of street tire traction.

Why didn't you but the "S" in the first place? you would have saved a lot of money in the long run. Alex
