Ducati luggage rack - YES
In October, I bought my used S. Came with the Ducati luggage rack. I am really glad it did. I probably wouldn't have paid for one new, but I use it all the time. It makes a great mount for the tail bags I use (BMW smaller one & Chicane tail bag). Bags mount very securely. Plus, the thing doesn't look bad when I'm not using the tail bag, which is most of the time.
I like the versatility of being able to use a tank bag & tail bag - gives me enough carrying capacity for a week-long trip.

I put the factory rack on but wasn't going to spend on that (nice) tail bag, instead I put one of my ( many) tank bags on the rack, a little less sporty but very handy, although it lacks "red" in the rear end, I might paint those exhaust covers in red one day....
Meanwhile, it's pissing down here in Sydney but we expect 35C tomorrow and sunny.... weird weather downunder!!!

I've got the rack & DP tail bag. Helps make the Hyper a better commuter IMO.

When you install the rack do you have to remove the tail wing?

BMW bag
By the way,the smaller BMW soft bag is exellent. Fits on the rack very well, really well made, very versatile & holds a lot of junk.

It's actually excellent, not exellent
Some demented Ducati rider typed exellent, instead of excellent. O, that was me! I had a hard time translating eccellente into English. Excuse!
