Power Commander Install?
So I got my Power Commander and am planning on installing it, so I can get it back on the dyno. This thing is much larger than I thought. Where are you guys installing this thing? I am assuming up in the side fairings. Thanks!
Out!

Randy,
Mount it in the glove box where the tools are stored in the right or left shroud. Thats where mine is and where my delaer installs it. Use zip-ties

mine too. Under the seat on the left side of the battery. Fits nice there and that's what the instruction suggest.

If you mounted in the front you would have to run a long wire back to the battery, and the wires going to the TB's would be too long.

So did you guys notice any noticeable power increases, throttle responsiveness, etc. after you PC install?
The tech told me I was a tad lean across the board with my full Zard system, DP ECU, DP air lid, and DNA filter. It seems to perform just fine and laid down an nice curve on the dyno. I hope the PC is worth the additional $270. This is my first FI machine, so the PC is new to me.
I finally pulled it from the packaging. It definitely looks like you need to install it close to the battery as the lead is only about 6" long.
Out!
