Winter Mod List... Post Up!
For those of us who don't get to ride year around, winter is usually the time to pull our bikes apart and add some goodies. This is what I have planned for the winter.
Termi 2-1 system
Rizoma Mirrors
Get rid of the handgaurds
new front signals to replace the ones I removed
520 dp chain in red
15/44 sprockets
paint the sub frame red
grip heaters
wiring for a heated jacket liner
look into getting a belly pan fairing from an older monster to fit
proper fork springs for my weight
I think that's about it. I think it's a nice mix of performance and cosmetic mods. What is everyone else planning?

While I couldn't wait to be sidelined by cold weather because I live in Southern Cal , I wish I could've been. My bikes been in the shop going on 3 weeks and I've missed some killer riding days around here.
Some of the things I'm doing:
Powdercoat rear subframe, triple clamps, front fender supports and gas cap semi gloss black
Rizoma reservoirs for clutch and front/rear brakes (black)
Rizoma mirrors, grips, levers and some little pieces (black)
EVR slipper clutch with SM Scudo cover (black)
Full Termi 2-1-2 system with pipes ceramic coated in 'or course' black
DP turn signals front and rear using the Rizoma front mounts
Motovation sliders
Sato rearsets with heelguards (black)
Front fork tubes anodized black and internals adjusted
Rear Ohlins revalved
Scotts Damper
Stealth sprockets are backordered all around the states otherwise I'd do my 15/44 520 conversion as well. And I'm still debating on lightening my flywheel. I'm also hoping that the Rizoma license plate bracket is the one I'm looking for; something to pull the plate up tight under the bike.
Hoping to have it back on the road by next week as I'm going through the DT's! Good luck with your winter project breakdown!

I saw this done on a Monster forum somewhere and I thought it might be kind of cool to do on the Hyper. The guy was making passenger footpegs and the mounting hardware to look like the trellis frame rather than the cast aluminnum bits. The guy had made the prototypes for his S2R and it looked really good I thought.
My buddy is a fabricator and we've been talking about trying to make a set of passenger footpegs in tubular steel like the trellis frame. It would be painted to match the frame obviously.
What do you guys think?

That would be very cool. Where would they mount, to the rearsets?

Right now the plans are to powdercoat the subframe, the triples, the peg brackets (rider and passenger), passenger pegs, sprocket carrier, and the tubes holding up the front fender.
That's about it although now Vic Fasola is wrenching at NPR it's damn tempting to go into the motor... Anyone want to sponsor me?
