Ducshop DP cam test after stacks
Here is the next stage. Didn't get the Nemesis yet so jumped to the DP cams.
Run 2 is Termi 2 into 1 and DP ecu.
Run 11 added the Ducshop velocity stacks.
Run 44 added the DP cams.
After the stacks I mapped it with a PCIII but showed no gain on the Dyno worth posting but was able to lean it out above 7K where it was rich and richened it at lower throttle settings where it was a little lean.
So I thought we would lose some bottom end with the cams which this shows we don't.

Nice work. What's the timing spec you used for the DP cams?

Thanks, trying to be as scientific as possible, same bike, picking similar weather days, same fuel, making pre-passes to level the power reading ect...Intakes open @ 26 so if you do lobe centers would be about 112.

Is 112 the official Ducati Performance spec? My cam kit did not include any instructions.

curious why are the lines for the last 2 runs so much shorter? do you think the stacks add much over the opened up airbox? thanks

No, I haven't seen any specs from Ducati, I played with some numbers and talked to other Ducati tuners I consort with, (Bruce Meyers) some use 109 or so and think you would get more bottom end with that. It has plenty off the corner for me so am looking for more midrange and top end, I do a lot of track days and most cam installs we do are for racers. If I get time this week I'll try advancing them and see how it goes.

Thanks for the info. In an earlier thread, a 108 spec for the DP cams was recommended by Bruce Meyers. Please keep us posted on your hyper mods!

Shorter at the begining because I probably hit the sample button later. Run 2 has the DP open airbox lid which comes with the pipe and ECU so yes the run 11 shows the gain of the stack kit.
