2-1 vs. 2-2 Termi weight savings
On the Ducati website, they claim 7kg weight savings for the 2-1 Termi racing kit.
If I choose to get the Full Kit with 2-2 carbon Termi's, what will my weight savings be if any?

 And that is?
I did see some (titanium) slipons weighing about 3 kg (about 6.6 lbs), maybe I go for function instead of looks.

the Termi slipons are not carbon. they are carbon wrapped. someone on the forum weighed the stock cans vs. the Termi slipons and the Termi's were heavier (IIRC).
If you remove the cat, flapper, flapper motor and cables, you'll lose a little more weight.

From std header/cat/valve/flapper and cables to Zard replacement ... i.e everything bar the slipon you will save 3.5 kg, I don't know the difference between the stock and Termi slipons though sorry.

I have a full stock system i coan weigh. I did not weigh my 2-1-2 system before fitting it. The main reason i went for the 2-1-2 system was crash protection - none of the aftermarket exhaust sytems for the hyper are cheap. I wanted something that would not need to be replaced after a minor off.

I dunno what you consider cheap but my Quat-D full system costs about $1060.00: http://www.motowheels.com/italian/my...rcycle%20Parts
Also I weighed each piece on a scale:
Quat-D Full System Installation Review and Pics!
The stock cans weigh 11LBS, I am sure the aftermarket can do better than that.
