Changing the handlebar look
Having read through the threads on hand guards and alternative mirrors I have put together my Christmas list to send to Santa showing what I want to do to change the look of the handlebar set up on the Naughtybike. All will be obtained in either anodised red (mostly this) or black. The pics are just to show the items.
A few questions:
What do you think, is it going to be too much red?
Have any of you had difficulties with any of the above, either fitting or usage after fitting? I know Cassos has the Zeta armour handguards and protectors with the flashers which look very trick and are the best I've seen/found.
Will the barends fit with the handguards?
I know I've been a good boy all year so I hope Santa will bring me loads of the above coz the total cost is going to come in at around £650!!!! and that's without postage (some coming in from the states probably)
Love the Zeta stuff but would get it re-stickered with the Hyper S logo.
MMMMM Rizoma billet bling gimme gimme gimme
Pazzo shorties to suit me and to fit in the handguards

how can you use bar ends at the same time as hand guards that mount into the end of the bar?

That's what I'm not sure about. If the fixing kit for the Zeta's has a bolt that fixes the same as the bar ends then maybe they can be used instead but until I see them or get some advice from those that have them I won't be sure. Hence the questions.

On my SuMo I have hand guards and bar ends (assuming your mean mirrors). I had to search for a longer bolt to replace the one that came with the guards, but otherwise it was straightforward.

I have the fastway guards and top clamp on my KTM and they are the best you can get.

They do look good. Not so sure about the mirrors although it is only my preference. I wish to do away with the folding mirrors as it widens the bike too much for filtering through traffic. The barend type would leave the same problem. That said I always did like the look of them on the monster and I like the design feature on the HM it's just doesn't have the practicality and taking them off and just having replacement mirrors makes the ends look broken
