Interesting, wonder where its better or worst than the Beast-R.

Has any one tried it?

Also Dukepilot, what did your Beast-R kit come with? Did you have sensors to deal with when you removed your airbox?

TIA

All I had to do is relocate the coils since they mount to the airbox. Air temp sensor stays where it is, under the headlight cowl.

I assume that the kit that will come with CAcyclewerks larger tank will be similar to this.

Can't say for sure, but most likely, the larger tank will require only pod filters and no stacks due to limited clearance.

The length of the Beast R stacks and filters are about 7" total. Hard to tell what the length of the ducshop stacks/filter is. Maybe shorter filters can be fitted with either of the TPO stacks or the ducshop version but I don't know what the dimensions of the new tank will be.

Judging by the sizes of the filters, this kit looks like a Beast equivalent- the main filters appear smaller than the Beast R ones. As much as one can tell from the picture, that is, and assuming the crankcase breather filter is the same one as the Beast kit.

Notable is the second (cone shaped) small filter which is used for the airbox pressure pickup. The ambient air temp/pressure sensor is in the nose as noted by Dukepilot.

It would be interesting if they include brackets for mounting the the coils- TPO told me to zip tie them to the frame when I asked about it.

The zip tie solution works well. I zip tied the front coils to the frame rail and used a short split piece of heater hose between the coil and frame rail as a buffer. For the rear coil, I suspended the coil between the frame rails, using the air box mounts to secure the double zip ties. Works well so far and is not as ghetto as it may sound. I'm also using the Outwear pre filters to extend air filter cleaning intervals since tank is such a pain in the ass to remove.

My thoughts exactly. I need to wait on the intake until we know what the larger tank requires.

Well it's certainly a lot cheaper than the TPO option (d'oh). Especially if it includes the little breather filters too.

I zip tied my coils too. I did wrap the frame in a high density rubberized foam to pad the coils and prevent them from scratching the frame. Eventually I'll make some brackets to secure them.

this may be an option.
