DP ECU 2-1-2 Slip on, expert Knowledge req

DP ECU 2-1-2 Slip on, expert Knowledge req

Am I correct, the chip turns off the 02 Sensor, but maintains the flapper motor?

The Ducati technician, can through the software options, de-activate the flapper motor?

The fuel consumption with the DP ECU will improve?

Thanks in advance,

I just installed the 308B slipon ECU today!

I also connected with VDSTS and turned off the service wrench, reset the TPS and deactivated, disconnected and removed the servo (flapper) motor.

It did throw me a kink when the new ECU displayed 3500 miles instead of 2100. Then i noticed the display was in EU so I switched it to USA and all is good.

VDSTS, did you use a laptop? where did you get the cable software?

Could you have just disabled the flapper motor, and left it in place?

Disconnect it from the loom and take the dead weight off your bike, put it back on when you sell if you want.

Yes it will disable the 02 and flapper.

You can get the vdsts software at technoresearch.com.

Read this thread about the servo deactivation.
