hypermotard power loss??
so my hyper is losing power at highway speed for about a second, not stalling or shutting off, just like the throttle was released and then comes right back. it did it twice one morning, then was fine for a couple days and now is doing it all the time. the bike is only 3 months old so i don't suspect clog gas lines or usual wear items yet. stock bike except for homemade tail tidy kit and clutch cover. please help, thanks

my hypertard does this every once in a blue moon ... i am suspecting it might be the oxygenated gas we have here in california.

If the electrical checks out try running the BG fuel treatment, I run it in all my cars/bikes every few months to clean out the crap from all the additives.

I think you hit the nail on the head
Had the same issue and it was a slightly loose ground on the battery.

Yep, my battery terminal actually snapped off the lead in the middle of no where so i had to clamp it under the terminal bolt. What you are probably feeling is fuel startvation from the fuel pump not getting enough current
