Thumbs up

They sacrifice so much and most of us contribute so little, it kind of makes me ashamed. We talk politics while they defend our politic. In other wars the Nation had to sacrifice with shortages of foods, raw materials, and the lives of children to support the troops needs, now we are too prosperous to even remember our people are dying let alone sacrifice a morsel of food. We are distant and indifferent as we "claim" to support the soldiers but not their mission or accomplishments. It sicken and angers me to hear OUR politicians equate our troops with enemy they face saying they are killing women and children in cold blood, air raiding village in the dead of night, and other atrocities and many of our indoctrinated youth believe this and never question that we are the most evil. It would be bad enough if many of these people who promote the hatred of our soldiers and country truly believed it, but most use it as a tool for their own promotion. I am most heart broken when I think of what would have once been called sedition and unseemly is now main stream.
God Bless the military and the unenviable tasks they perform with such distinction. There may be grumbles, as there has always been, but these people show up to a job they volunteered for knowing the trials they might face and that is the definition of duty. Thank all of you that have or are serving, I do appreciate and love you.

Thanks Monsta. This a global community and at most do not know or care what a soldier must do on a daily basis.

I pray with you that the lads and ladessses get back safe and well and soon.
