what riding pants to get?
I've been wearing (when its not too hot) a Scorpion EXO leather jacket for a year or so, like it, comfy, stylin and I feel well protected in it but would like some good riding pants. Unfortunately they don't make a leather pant. What do you guys recommend? How about over pants vs reg pants? Gets kinda hot here for overpants. any opinions appreciated.

I like the Alpinestars A-10 Leather/Textile pants. http://www.motostrano.com/a10pants.html
Not too hot but with the protection of leather in key areas. They zip to Alpinestars jackets too.

I have Vanson Supermoto pants ( http://www.vansonleathers.com/detail.aspx?ID=491). They're also leather and textile and not too hot in the warmer weather. I was lucky and got a good deal ($250) on a blow out set a few years ago. They're way to expensive without a discount.
I'd probably go for something like the above mentioned Alpinestars if I needed something new.

nothing feels better than the wind in your package ... except for those bugs in the summertime.

I have Joe Rocket Alter Egos. When its hot, you just wear them with the vent strips open and gym shorts underneath. Cool enough and you still have armor. I'm wearing them now over jeans with the liner in 30 deg temps.

im with you dude... unzippable crotch area so when you have a chick on the back you can let her drive... ok forget it, the logistics are too complicated... o
otherwise I'd go with Dainese Delta pants... protection for all seasons.

AGV Sport makes some nice leather pants that are relatively inexpensive. I have a set of vented pants I wear in Arizona. Yeah they get hot when sitting in the sun, but on the move they flow air pretty good. I wear them in temps to 45-50* with a pair of UnderArmour longhangers and they are good to go.
Out!
