Here is another option, this guy makes a very nice skidplate for the Multistrada and it will also fit the Hyper. I link to the his site is www.strada-avventurosa.com and you'll find some pics there.

I'm liking that "Strada" skid plate a little better than the Ducati plate. Now if it were just made of carbon...

believe how BEAT-UP the bottom of the skid plate was!! it was sand blasted
by the road gravel BADLY, apperantly the front wheel throws road debri right
at the bottom of the engine cases, and it also had a gash in it that I do not
know where it came from, as I don't remember hitting anything, but I guess I did.
So I'm glad I have the skid plate to take the abuse off the cases.
As a side note, the skid plate makes it much easier to raise both wheels off
the ground by using a center bike lift, raiseing the bike using the skid plate.
So now you know, Alex
PS: it does make it harder to do an oil change, but to me its worth it.
(sorry no photos, use imagination)

for the bike, a little PITA at oil changes, but still worth it. Aloha Alex

I'm likin the stainless steel one, I emailed him to see if he had a pic of one installed. It appears to also protect the front cylinder, which the other one doesn't.
