Carbon undertail sh*t guard?
What are the chances of getting shift-tech or another good carbon maker to create an undertail guard that stops shit and water from getting up all over the battery and under the seat. I ride in any conditions and a bit more protection back there would be nice. (the siren on my alarm fills up with water in the wet!)

I'm in the process of creating a guard out of thin ABS plastic. I should have it mounted tomorrow. The ABS is pretty workable if you use a heat gun. My Leo Vince exhaust really left that area wide open.
I'll post pictures when it's done.

Funny, because thats what I did today. Once I installed the LV exhaust and removed the servo there was a big gap. It was so bad with all the leaves and road trash I had temporarily went nuts with duct tape. Today I made a cardboard mock up and then cut it from plastic, mounts to the LV sidepanel brackets. I'll snap a pic tommorrow.

I 'could' make my own, but the thought of some shiny carbon and sitting on the sofa drinking beer whilst someone else does all the hard work is just too appealing.
maybe I'll have a stab at making one.

Same problem w/ the 2-1 exhaust. If Shift-Tech will make them, I'll buy one.

I'm in, lot of sand, leaves etc all over my battery area and seat from riding in the rain. When I accessed that area last weekend to do my LED resistors. You guys running a rear hugger, does the hugger keep this area clean?

The hugger doesn't do anything to stop the mess.

Helps protect the shock some and keeps the front of the swingarm cleaner but nothing for the battery area.
