Oil filter

Will this oil filter wrench:

http://store.proitalia.com/17030.html

Fit this oil filter:

HiFloFilto Oil Filters-HF153

http://www.amotostuff.com/Merchant2/...uct_Code=HF153

Well, it looks like it should, but just double checking.

Thanks!

No.

The Ducati OEM and the HiFlo do not have the same number of sides.

I used the 'pound screwdriver through oil filter' approach to remove my OEM filter.

Thanks for the info man. I'm going to just buy the Hiflo filter and find a filter wrench locally.

K&N makes an oil filter with a built in 17mm hex head, drilled for safety wire.
Part number KN-153.

The stock filter on my bike most not have had oil on the seal when they installed it because i had to use a 16" pipe wrench to get it off and I had to have a friend hold the bike because I had to use so much force. I am lucky nothing broke. I too use the K&N as they have that handy built in nut and they are carried locally.
