New Hyper engine quits at low rpm...

Problem was there since first miles, now bike has 1800 miles, still same.
Only happens when first advancing the throttle from idle, the engine just dies abruptly and bike has to be restarted. Sometimes it dies with a "gulp" sound or a soft backfire, sometimes it just dies. It has nothing to do with cluth, bike can be in neutral and still does the same.
Bike idles fine all day long, it only happens when the throttle is started to be advanced.
I wonder if anybody else has/had the same problem.
Is the ECU adjustable ( programable ) on this bike ?
Anticipated thanks.

My HM died a few times while decelerating, nothing while it was just idling. I am sure the frequency of this happening has a lot to do with altitude, temperature and riding style. The ECU is not programmable. Although I noticed on my VDST tool, you can trim the idle fuel, but I don't know much about this function or what it does but this cure the lean run condition at idle. I installed a fatduc O2 manipulator and it made the engine run sweet. I highly recommend spending the $80 on this product and the two minutes it takes to install. This problem is not isolated to aircooled DUC's, my Harley had the same problem.

I agree, sounds like a TPS issue...
