boot melting on midpipe....suggestions
any suggestions for some kind of heat shield for the midpipe. my boot heel keeps melting on it

Just use exhaust wrap.
heatshieldproducts makes one in every color.

i hate the look of exhaust wrap. i wonder if ceramic coating them will lower the temperature enough.

You could always get the $250 Ducati carbon fiber heel guards... or wait until I make my aluminum guards. Don't hold your breath on that though.

I'm using the Leo Vince carbon exhaust guard from Motowheels. Works awesome.

i just saw the motowheels carbon guard and it looks like exactly what i'd need. 'nwrob' can you post a pic of your bike so i can see what it looks like mounted. thanks again.
