My Girls New Rack!!
So, I am wanting to set our bike up a bit better for two up and trips away, looked at the Ducati luggage which I like, looked at my old Givi 35L traffic box and RJ panniers which I already have.
So, $2200.00 for Ducati stuff or 5-6 hours and some welding and 10 bucks worth of paint, sorry Ducati but my Dutch blood won the scrap.
Bit of cutting and fabbing and hey presto, shortened rack to fit the Hyper.
Stage two is to make so side panel protectors for when the panniers are on the bike so the GF panels don't break or get damaged.
Enjoy the pics gents,

Good job.. I'd want to do the same but I don't have the time nor inclination; oh and of course, skill.
So... would you consider fabricating more, and selling the brackets?

Very nice! But, if you want to really make her comfy, add some armrests with built-in cup holders and a set of stereo speakers. She'll be givin' it up in no time

ciao andi -
i much prefer the rack on your "other" girl.
true, the "other" girl's rack may not carry as much stuff, but they are way more fun to play with.
seriously, great job on the project ... looks very cool indeed.
any chance you might add side bags as well?

Nice job Monstaman!!! My thought is that with 35L Givi loaded you could face stability problem... Just a thought... Side panel protectors sounds a VERY NICE PROJECT that I would very much like to see ;-)
