Trying to find how to get the Ducati Desmo Challenge tail section
I have called everbody i know and they do not know how to get it. I know the techna group has information on the kit but they are over seas. I have emailed them with no response. From what i have read Ducati and place called Neotech got together and made these racing kits for the bikes. I keep seeing people here in the USA with this tail section and belly pan, but nobody will say were they got it from. If anybody has any info how to get these parts hit me back. Heres some pics.
Thanks Dustin

The handguards can be had from these guys http://www.acerbis.com/p106_handguard/1325.html
They have produced a HM version which Ducati sell as a DP part

Translation, maybe...
Which, according to Babelfish, says...
"l cost of the footrests racing èdi euro 400.
Buongiorno! Here the prices of the " Kit Racing Hypermotard "
Bathtub and portanumero are already black opaque
IT' S AN NEW MODEL REGISTERED

Which means that personally I am still as confused as I was previously...
I've been looking for one of these tail sections, too, and for a while now, and haven't had a bit of luck so far, either. One would think there might be at least a tiny amount of money to be made importing and selling these in the USA and elsewhere...
Hopefully this thread, or others, will one day produce a ready source to obtain one.
