Question Threads showing on HM-S adjustable link?

I am bored and it's snowing here in Jersey. Thus, since I cannot ride, I thought would ask a question about the HM-S link. Does anyone know/remember how many threads were showing when you took delivery of your HM? I ask because I am trying to confirm my theory as to why some HM-S models have head shake and some do not. For example, I purchased my HM from Commonwealth Motorcycles in Kentucky and my HM-S came with 2 threads showing on the link. I now have three threads showing on the link.

I just checked; I have 2 showing. Just picked up the bike last week, 80 miles on it so far.

As previously discussed (in person), mine was delivered with ZERO threads showing.

ADHD, sorry to hear than man, we have our New Zealand spring here and it too was snowing on Saturday!!

At least we are heading to warmer times now, to answer your Q?, mine had two showing and now has none.

I am longitudinally challenged (except one component ) thus I adjusted it down 15 mm in the rear ride height which is two threads, I also lowered the front but by 10 mm increasing the rake minimally.

Mine has no headshake whatsoever through this imaginary 108 mphr and sits as stable as a rock.

Yeah, it's unusual for Central Jersey to see any snow before January and sometimes February. March and April are the real wild cards!

So 2 threads showing is 15mm over oem? I took measurements from the ground to the bottom of the oem license plate reflector. I thought that 2 threads to 0 threads was 10 mm decrease.

I would imagine the HM at 0 threads would be very stable. I left my forks in the oem location. However, I am looking for even faster turn in without compromising stability.
