turn signal resistors out of the blue
so on another thread I was whining about how my blink rates had been screwed up since installing Motrax Allycator LED turn signals on my HM. I had emailed them and got a respones like "you may need some resistors". A 2nd email asking for details was followed up by a young lady asking for my address and about 3 weeks later by an envelope from merry old England landing on my desk, no bill, no explanation.

I think your new blinkers need a resistor installed in-line.
Am I correct?

Damn, so the Motrax fairy deposited some in-line resistors underneath your pillow? I may need to send them and email too, although the higher blink rate isn't that big of a nuissance to me.

Why not set the ECU setting signal setting from bulb to LED to compensate for the LEDs? I personally like the faster rate my rear Rizomas gave me.

just for my own education, how do you pick the resistance ? is it work out the current draw required ( to match the fronts) and use Ohms law?
Only reason I ask is I'd like LEDS on the back.

like I said in the other post, I put the allycators on the front first and they worked perfectly. a month later I put them on the back and I got a good blink rate on left signal except the dash light was dead. on right signal I have a very fast blink and the dash light also. explained this to motrax and they sent the inline resistors. as to the resistance I have no idea, left that up to them. don't even know if they will work, will put them on saturday. I'm going to do the rear first and see if it works, may not need them on the front.

Damn Skippy they will work! I would try the rears first and then set the dash to LEDs and see if you are good to go. If that works, I would send the extra ones to AXE to do the same..............as he has the Motrax rears too.
Out!
