Early 2007 Hypers versus 2008

In July 2007 (picture below) I got hold of a new Hypermotard, with termi's that were fitted from new, loved the bike but was persueded to part with her by a silly offer, they were in short supply then, never got over it and am thinking of adding a new 2008 1100 to the stable, couple of questions,

Have they fixed the Battery connections, mine kept coming loose

Have they fixed the trip meter, oddmeter would say 100 miles, trip about 60

Did the 2007 bikes have o2 sensors and Stepper motors, or were they added to 2008 bikes for Euro III emmisions

All of the Hypermotards released in 2007 were technically "2008" models. The bikes that came out in 2007 were just early release 2008s. They've all had the stepper motors and 02 sensors. I believe the 2009s may be starting to come in now.

The only battery recall they had was for 385 early units that didn't have the battery hold down bracket.

From what I've seen lately, there are still some bikes floating around with the trip meter problem. Ducati doesn't seem to be too quick at fixing issues like that.
