Canister

I removed the canister today. Quick and easy. I used the Werloc method to address the vacuum issue. Thanks Werloc.

Not sure what the werloc method is? But you should be linking the two throttle bodies together. This will help the bike idle better as the throttle bodies will basically be communicating to each other better. Make sure the lines from the tank can still vent properly or you will have some serious issues.

The charcoal canister is a good thing (IMO), but man is it ugly!

Thanks. I rerouted the fuel tank hose just a bit to straighten it out, no kinks. Werloc did exactly what you say to do, connect the throttle bodies rather than cap them. Tom

I removed my canister on my ST-3 and Motard, however I capped them booth. I haven't noticed any irregularities in either. What is the benefit(s) to linking the throttle bodies, smother idle?

My post above lists the benefits. It isn't a problem if you don't though. Think about linking them more as a bonus!
