Thumbs up My Mudflap!

Ok, after seeing the results of the tank and battery leak on an earlier thread I checked my battery compartment to find all sorts of goodies caught up in there.

So I cleaned it all out set to with some butyl rubber and made a bit of a mudflap, used the existing bolts holes that held the stepper motor in place along with some panel washers etc.

I double lined around the battery as well so it can be easily washed if need be, hopefully 99 % of unwanted shite will stay out of there now.

I'm surprised no one has come up with a bling carbon undertail cover for the back to stop water getting in. mine is filthy and my alarm gets full of water. the termi kit sure does remove a helpful bit of plastic.
