The nipple finally got me!!! - Ducati.ms

After many close calls, the nipple on my slave cylinder finally hooked my riding pants good enough to make me go down. Bike came through o.k. but resulted in a broken ego. This was witnessed by about 20 people in front of the gf`s work

I`m ready to run a piece of flippin safety wire from the nipple to the frame

When I had my Multi it snagged an I was lucky it didn't hold so I was able to get my foot off, but I feel for your embarassment...you ride up on this beautiful red bike and just fall over at zero miles per hours and the crowd snickers with laughter saying... "oh look at Mr. Cool, he thinks he so cool and he just fell over like some some douche bag squid. He looked like a baffoon or even monkey learning how to ride".... Well I know that feeling because I came to my driveway with the neighbors across the street looking at me in my cool Supermoto gear and I did my patented mild "backing it in" to my driveway(on my SM bike, not the hyper) only to have scrubbed off my speed to be going 10 mph and the rear tire grabbed and like a doofus I went highside with just enough force to send me off balance and trying to stay upright took 3 wild flailing steps and flew onto my chest and sliding a couple feet. Of course they run over with concern, but I knew they were laughing on the inside...that ego bruise took a couple weeks to go away...

nipples have caused 3 of my last 4 accidents.

oh wait ... you mean nipples on the slave cylinder? my bad ... i thought you meant nipples on boobies

There's a simple fix for that. I posted a PIC months ago. Don't have time to find it now, on my way to work. Just put some fuel tube over it. Try a search.
