Just based on my own observation of when the light goes on and how much the tank takes to fill, I think the reserve is 0.8 gallon, which depending on your average mileage and riding at that point will vary. I have no idea though if the tank is designed to use up the very last of that fuel.

I've read here in the forums somewhere that most guys are getting 21miles on their fuel light, do a search and you'll find something.. havent had my light come on yet, tend to fill up early to avoid running out,;most I've filled was 10L, wouldn't be far off the light I think?
don't fancy pushing it miles from nowhere LOL

I've done 25 easy miles, filled to a little over 3 gal. stock. I don't think I can get this now with the O2 manipluator.

I commute on the Hyper (guess the parts of my day I look forward to!). Riding style is "two throttle settings 0 and 1". 100mph cruising speed through light traffic. I get ~25miles after fuel light. Haven't run out yet.

Incidentally, I am getting same miles per tank as my 848, which has 0.75 gallons more.
(120mph cruising speed).

I got 20 deep into the reserve that included a couple of sustained 120mph blasts as well as a looooooong climb up a steady grade.

I figured it would be good for 25 miles of easy riding.
