Exhausted

Im trying to decide what exhaust to purchase. Between either termi systems, the 2 zard combos, the G&G muffler or the quat-d pipe or box, even several other brands, the decicision is becoming hard. Im interested to find out more on the quat-d box. If anyone has any pics and feedback on any of these systems that they have on they're own hyper, or any other system post them here. The cosmetics of the exhaust can make or break the look of the bike but just as important is the effect on how the bike performs so if you guys can help me out.......

Cat Eliminator

Before you buy a pipe try a LV cat eliminator. Put one on my stock Hyper and it made it run alot better. Woke up the exhaust note alittle too. Was amazed at how much better the bike ran with no other changes.
Even if you got a pipe you would probably want one eventually anyways??

There is a ton of information out there if you do a search.

Try these terms: "Hypermotard," "exhaust," "slip-on," "complete"

Seriously, this has been beat to death on this forum and there's a TON of good info (dyno graphs and riding impressions) out there if you dedicate an hour and read everything.

A good and economic combo is the Zard headers which replaces the cat, valve and headers complete.

This gives much cleaner lines and flow coupled with Termis which come with a DP ECU that can have the valve and o2 sensor disabled, all round seems to be pretty good.

Bump!
As much info as there is on exhaust's, I can't find much other than a couple of photos of the quat-d exbox. This one looks to have the best aesthetics... anyone have one that can post impressions?

I have to agree. I did the same setup and put in the CA Cycleworks tank so I am running the pod filters and it runs great.

Get the Zard headers and core the stock end cans. AWESOME!

And it keeps the original look which I like.
