Coulda been a hooligan........
But I just didn't have it in me. Guess who came to dinner tonight?
I'll probably be selling my Hyper sometime in the near future but that'll be a different post. Can I still hang with you cool kids? Please don't make me go play in the Multistrada forums.

Nice bike! I have one too (black as well), makes great garage pals with the Hyper.

of course you can stick around. your new ride is simply the ugly sister ... as the hypertard is basically a multistroodle with better looking clothes and accessories on it.
to create the hypertard, terblanche took a multistroodle and cut the rear frame off (think liposuction) and added a bolt on sub-frame, threw different forks on it, nicer shoes (wheels/front brake rotors), added a nicer ass (the seat on the hyper looks and feels better), and dressed it all up in a tighter fitting/sexier dress (body panels).
but hey ... just like fat chicks, the multistroodle is fun to ride .. you just don't want to be seen with it in the morning.

After carefully weighing all the pros and cons I decided on a Multistrada. Long trips with bags and yet capable of running around the curves with the best of them. Definitely the Multi!!
Then I opened my eyes...... HYPERMOTARD!!!!
Keep both and see which one puts the smile on your face.

I think if I woke up next to a Multistrada I'd chew my arm off

Since the day I met Mike he's been griping about getting another Multi. See, what he didn't mention is that he was Multi-man first, and after a strange turn of events the powers that be saw him throw a leg over a Hyper. He appeared to be a better man for it.
He also cut his 749 loose ... and wound up with a 999R.
It's beginning to look like Mike is having a mid-bike crisis.
I will say this ... the Multi's got a better air box and longer range ... but 'er face!

Bike looks great! Good choice and hope to ride with you soon.
PS
