Quat D exhaust picture request
I've seen a few photos out there of the Quat-D exhaust on Hypers. I was hoping that someone could post a few more. I'm trying to decide between this and the Termi 2-1.
I wish it was possible to get the QD exhaust in carbon fiber rather than titanium.

Here's mine...
Hope it helps. Currently I only have pictures very similar to this one but maybe I can get some more next week.
BTW, I absolute ***LOVE*** my Quat-D exhaust on my Hyper. It is super-lightweight, extremely well designed and thought out, and built from what appear to be only the very finest materials. The welds are gorgeous, and everything fits, and fits tight. So tight and close, in fact, that it almost makes it difficult to install... But in the end I prefer tight tolerances, good fit, and no leaks to an easier install. The only complaints I have with the exhaust at all are the instructions are only in Italian and pretty vague, and that the pieces supplied to remount the license plate, etc. leave a bit to be desired. I didn't use any of those pieces and made my own. What you see above is the result.
But again I must say the exhaust itself is so damn good that after you install it you have no doubt as to why Ferrari chooses Quat-D to produce many of their exhaust components.
Oh, and IMHO titanium is a far, far superior material for muffler can than carbon fiber.

Here is one that has my interest. It has similar benefits to your QD but with a nice tucked in look. It is also, like yours, going to necessitate addressing the tail light aesthetics after the OE pipedectimy.
Heres a thread on the SC forum where I found this pic The WASPmobile gets 4-Pads, 5-Spokes/BT016R's, 14 teeth, wave rotors, and an ExBox.. and heres a page from motowheels site with sound files and pics of it mounted on an S2R http://www.motowheels.com/italian/my...rcycle%20Parts
I'm seriously sorta-kinda halfway considering ordering one up to see if it can't be tweeked to fit the hyper this winter.

@Dallara,
I ordered the Quat-D as well. Could you share how you sorted out the tail. Custom license plate bracket or something off the shelf ?
Thanx

How I sorted out the license bracket issue is detailed in this thread:
Any interest in a billet tidy tail?
And my apologies to others that asked for more pictures of the bike from different angles... I simply haven't had the camera around with me when I have been out at the shop with the bike.
One of these days... I promise.
And yes, those are Ducati Performance carbon side panels, just like the ones that come with the DP Termi 2-1 pipe kit.

Dallara, is there any way you could take a picture of the vertical cylinder's exhaust header. I'm curious how QD bent theirs. Thanks, man.
