Ktm Superduke Trade For Hypermotard
2007 black KTM 990 SUPERDUKE. This bike is in excellent condition, it has 4000 miles, a new set of michelin pilot power 2CT tires with 500 miles on them and new front rotors replaced by KTM warranty. The bike is stock but does come with KTM 18 mm bar risers. I hold the title and will sell for 9000.00 or trade for a HYPERMOTARD. The bike is located in RI, if you have any questions please ask thanks Dan.

I have a Hypermotard and I might be interested.
2008 with 3400 miles
Fresh oil(Mobile1) and filter
new set of Bridgestone BT016 tires
Zard Top Gun slipons
DP ECU and DP airbox lid
DP open clutch cover
STM Red anodized clutch plate(star shaped)
Speedymoto Red anodized clutch spring caps and SS clutch springs
PIAA Plasma GT headlight bulb
New set of EBC HH sintered pads
Bike is mint, not a scratch or ding with it.
Of course, one does wonder why you would want to trade. While the Tard is awesome, the Super Duke is an awesome bike in it's own right.
What's your reason for wanting a trade? Is there anything wrong with the KTM?

I like the SD a lot even though I'm not head over heels with its styling. In fact, I went into the dealer to buy one, but ended up with the HM instead. I had even forgotten that the KTM dealer was also a Ducati dealer until I got there. After test riding both, I bought the HM because of its more tractable power delivery. On the other hand, I still long for the harder hit available for the SD from time to time. At the end of the day, however, the HM is simply a more practical bike for the specific riding I want. Perhaps Dan has come to the same conclusion as I did, except he bought the SD first.

Well, that makes sense. I am just curious because he is a new member and his only two posts so far were to try and find a trade for a HMT.
Just want to make sure that everything is legit. If it is, I am highly interested.

Come on Dan, you are killin me. LOL
If that bike is mint and it is a legit offer, I am willing to set up a time to meet you halfway to check it out and maybe swap. I too have my title in hand.
I am in Atlanta though, so we would need to meet in like Virginia or something.

I am of the same mind. I almost bought one as my buddy is the local KTM dealer, but my passion was stirred by the HM. He still glares at my bike when I park it in front of the store and it gets attention. I don't buy on stats, if I did the KTM would be in my garage throwing ugly glares at all who pass.
The KTM probably is a better flat land bike.
