Question Anyone ever heard of this carbon company?

Hey guys, I have spent endless hours reading your statements . I have a question for you all, I bought another hypermotard #2 haha and looking for something special with this one, I came across a company called Race Con that makes carbon fiber out of Australia--anyone heard of them, bought from them, thinking about doing a carbon motard--thanks. Ride on

heres the link

I saw this on ebay the other day as well. Looks pretty nice. Dont know anything about the company but think it would look really good on a red tard.

Same here.

I bought a salvage 08 Hyper a month a go with 39 miles on it.

Nose and left side panel were trashed. I've been looking at CF replacement parts as they seem to be marginally less $ than stock. These look fairly nice from the pics and prices are good, shipping is a bit high. I may pick up a set of the side panels. Need to email them for some addtional info.

FYI... for those who may have been considering a CF piece from eastcarbon on ebay... I took a $189 leap an bought the nose/fender piece in order to get my Hyper inspected.

It just arrived after almost 4 weeks of waiting...

The quality is middle of the road AT BEST... Somewhat irregular fabric layup... Resin seems to be a bit cloudy in a few spots when viewed at certain angles. Inner fender fits poorly due to contour of nose being off slightly... It'll do for now to get it legal but I'll be replacing it.

You get what you pay for.....

Can't disagree with you...

I've purchased numerous pieces from Guido for my 916 and Monster and have NEVER been disappointed...

Unfortunately I don't think he has a nose piece or side panels for the Hyper yet...

carbon

thanks guys, still undecided on ordering or not, on the zilla forum one of the guys found a thread a while ago on MS about buyer beware, but a few people chimmed in that really like the stuff. the old saying is true I am sure, get what you pay for but...don't know if I want to pay! ha
