This FORUM is THE ONE !!! THANKS TO ALL !!!

I just got my new hyper, after owning a 900SS (01) and a 750 Monster.
I have this "thing" on my personality that makes me so f___ing picky and detail oriented, perhaps from being an aircraft mechanic for a long time. So, many concerns arise when I get my hands on a new machine, and in this very Forum, is where I found a lot of smart people who are gentle and friendly enough to share their knowledge and respect for others, new or old.
Too bad I did not join before. YOU GUYS ROCK !!!
I have been riding for over 40 ( all kinds ), every day I think, so much that I suck when I drive a car, I feel I`m driving a C-5 Galaxy or a Semi when I drive my old 325i around town.
So, for me, this Forum is like heaven.
I tell my sons ( riders too ), this is the bike I ever dreamed, the only problem is to get my old friends to understand that my body is older, but my soul is still like a kids. Maybe I`m not OK, I know most of you will understand.
I am in Hot, Humid, and Sunny Puerto Rico. Let me know if I can be of any help to anyone if you come down. I work right on the International Airport.

Hey Johnny, I worked 13 years as an AMT for TWA and United. I've had a few etops trips to PR for turn arounds and one field trip for an L1011 #2 engine fuel pump. I love it there. I'm sure you will love to wake up and ride everyday!

Good luck with the new bike.

Tom

Thanks guys,
Yeap Tom, I ride every single day of the year. Now is raining season, and I don`t mind, only thing is the chain which requires constant lube due to the water splash.
I don`t turn wrenches on AC now, I`m working for the FAA as an Airway Speciallist ( NAV/COM ) Tech. I worked for US Customs on their AC for a few years after leaving the US NAVY where I worked AIMD out of Norfolk and Oceana VA. and their AC Carriers. Owe the NAVY a whole lot, visited many many countries and learned a LOT. Rented bikes on every port I could, quiet !!! jejeje, but I was a good Sailor otherwise.
