EarthBM, your so right about the ground clearance! we NEED more!
The Hyper will drag everything! I have modified the foot brake lever to
be higher, I made a new linkage for the shift lever, to raise it up, and
drilled and rewelded the tip to change to a flatter angle, I jacked the back
of the bike WAY up with the adjustable link, dropped the tubes to flush in the thriple
clamps, to raise the front WAY up, and I still will drag both pegs, BOTH
foot controls, and my pipe!! Every time I go to a track day I have to
put on a new pair of toe sliders, as they only last the one day!
I think its something were just going to have to live with, or just buy a track bike
and keep the Hyper for the Canyons! Aloha Alex

seriously you dudes must weigh in too heavy for the springs, old xaus didn't seem to have any probs with clearance. looks stock on the pegs to me and he's cranked over. I deck out every bike I've owned but I've not had the pegs to the deck yet on the hyper and I've no bits left to go on the rear.

You may have a point there. I am 6'4" 210lb of pure aggression when nekkid. Same comment about sagging too much under Gs in turns was made to me by someone else. Took a closer look at Xaus, they do look stock, I always assumed he had a special setup. Maybe when you are spinning the rear there is not a lot of sideways g-force?

Looks like a bone stock S. Have you tried chaning your ride height? Get someone to check out the suspension too. Doubt it's sprung right for a 240# person. Also - get off the bike more!
