Performance Air Box
Where can I get a similar aribox lid to the DP? I am getting ready to put on a full Zard sytem with DP cams and ECU. I know TPO has the filter just can't find the air box.
Thanks

The Ducati Performance airbox lid can be found at your local hardware store in the form of a 2" hole saw! Just take off your stock lid a drill out the round part of the lid and you've got a replica DP lid. The 2" hole saw fits perfectly into the hole, you'll just need to clean up the edges afterwards.
Also, no need to wait for the exhaust. Let it breathe now and you'll notice the difference.

If I did the DP performance lid and put on an aftermarket filter, would I need to get anything tuned? Would it be too lean to run like that for now, or would I need the DP ecu?

I'd like to know this answer as well. Especially with the cooler, denser air staring to come in.

if adding only the dp airbox (2" hole in top, centered over the air filter) and/or a bmc or other performance air filter, you do not need to do anything else. this mod alone (the airbox lid and performance air filter) will add approx. 4 hp.
as for adjusting air/fuel mixture, as the stock ecu is a closed system, your options are either going to a DP ecu only, or a DP ecu and an aftermarket ecu tuning module such as the revtech unit that peter raves about, or a powercommander. with either of these ecu options, you will also need to have the TPS re-adjusted after you install the DP ecu.
