stock clutch cover with speedymoto pressure plate?

Probably a stupid question but my Speedymoto open clutch cover recently turned purple so I sent it back to them to have it re-anodized black. It's taking longer than I expected to get it back and I want to ride the Hyper

Is there any clearance issues of running the stock cover over the speedymoto pressure plate?

Thanks

No they won't unfortunately. I had it (10 spoke black cover) for 3 months and it turned completely purple. They said it can happen, but they also said a week for turnaround time, now it's looking like 2 weeks. I hate when little things like this happen

I would put the stock cover on with the rubber gasket and spacers. Don't start the bike but put it in gear, hold in the clutch and roll the bike (this causes the pressure plate to spin). Then, pull the cover off and look for rub marks. I don't see how or why there would be an issue.

I had originally though of taking a die grinder to the stock cover instead of buying aftermarket and I would have changed pressure plates.

I don't think it will be a problem, but it really wouldn't be difficult to put the stock pressure plate in either. It does remind me of a song..........

Purple haze all in my brain
Lately things just dont seem the same
Actin funny, but I dont know why
scuse me while I kiss the sky
Purple haze all around
Dont know if Im comin up or down
Am I happy or in misery?

Jimi Hendrix

Out!

Red face

Don't sweat it, its just the anodizing thats fadeing, sometimes they don't
leave the parts in the "bath" long enough, and the color does not penetrate
deep enough, and will fade in time especially with heat and the sunlight.

My Speedy moto parts that used to be a BRIGHT RED are now a lot lighter
and a shade off "PINK" how quaint! What do ya do? LOL Alex
