Oct 20 Buttonwillow Track Day - Be There!!
It's that time again!!! Alex and I are going to another track day. Why wait right?? I've had my replacement Hyper for over a week now Shoulder feels sort of OK....
Running list so far:
08Hyper
hyprduc
Location: Buttonwillow (approx 2 hours from LA)
Date: Monday, October 20
Host: www.velocetrackdays.com
Cost $155
They're supposed to run the track both clockwise and counterclockwise. Post up if you think you can make it. Last time out we had a group of Hypers and it was a BLAST!!!!
Sign up at http://www.velocetrackdays.com/store...roducts_id=204
We're signing up in fast pace group (middle). We were combined with the race group last time and held our own just fine, and there is the freedom to move among groups if you wish to go faster OR slower.
Veloce runs an easy going yet professional track day. Safety first!
Hope to see a bunch of you join us!
Ciao

I like BW, and HM's suspension should make the bump just ahead of Cotton Corners a breeze even in late braking desperation. The off-ramp should be a passing place for HM's too.
But I don't want to be poisoned in my sleep by the wife who still doesn't know about my track day this Sunday at Fontana.

Clockwise AND counterclockwise-at the same time!?!? I can't wait!
It'll be like that crazy 1950's video of the Italian motorcycle police synchonized riding skills. (If you haven't seen it, go to the vintage Ducati forum and check it-it's worth the look).
I'll be driving the truck, so I have one space left in the back if someone wants to me to take their bike. Bike's owner may be welcome also, depending on how much they fart.
Remember, it will eventually rain/get cold/world runs out of gas/get the babysitter pregnant and spend all your time in court/etc, so I'd like to see every retard in the Los Angeles area show up for this, and get lots of vid and pix to show off to our brothers East and Down Under.

Earth BM... I wrote you off as dead already... First you buy a new Hyper without telling the wife, I though you might have been stabbed in your sleep for that one... and now your saying she doesn't even know about your track day this weekend!!! Damn you got some huge sak.
I would love to join you guys but I have made plans with the wife and toddler, and would get reamed if I bailed on it.... Secondly I only have 200 miles on the new hyper and don't see getting enough miles for proper run in before the track day. But I will always be willing to go if I get about 2-3 weeks notice. I specifically bought the Hyper with the intention of doing more track days so it will be cool to have people to go with...

I may be there on the hyper. Where do you guys usually setup? I am taking the 1098 on the 13th, then the 27th at Infinion.

That's great! Hope you can make it. For a lot of us it is our first time to this track so we'll set up where the tell us I guess. Can you recommend a good spot? Otherwise just look for the Hypers when you get there and we'll do the same.
Cheers
