What is all the clutch racket
1500 miles on the bike and I love it!
But, what is up with the racket when I let out the clutch in neutral?
Is there a fix, or is it just one of those dry clutch Ducati things?

Ok...so now I'm hip, and cool with the racket.
But...anyone know exactly WTF is making the noise?

It is an assortment of driven plates and clutch plates resonating back and forth against the clutch basket from both inner splines and outer dogs, this is caused due to the engine L twin pulses and is most pronounced at idle.
As there is no oil to dampen that sound you get that very metaly ting ting sound.
Either that or your engine is fucked .... j/k
