Fuel light - 56 miles? Anyone else this bad?
Hi all,
I just got a fuel light at 56 miles. I usually get around 80 - 90 miles. Anyone else had it come on this low?
TIA,
Tom

Damn!
Wow...
My worst has been 76 miles, and I thought that was poor mileage. And mine has a pipe, airbox mods, DNA air filter, and the richer DP Termi 2-1 ECU...
Was it one of those days where you were really twisting the wick hard?
What were the conditions?
Thanks!
Dallara

That is way low. Mine ran out (with reserve) at 86 miles once.
Hot, humid day and beating on it.

It has me wondering if I didn't fill it all the way up. I just put in 2.6 gallons. I'll what I get out of that.

Search some threads for this issue. I think there were some odometer problems that needed to be reset. It might have been a dealer fix, I don't recall.
Out!

Happened to me twice during a few really bad (hot/humid) days here and keeping the revs up the whole time. I also get 80-90 usually, but milder riding. I'm just happy it's not 56 every time out.
